Sandy Hurricane Relief Trunk Show: November 15, 2012
In the wake of Hurricane Sandy that hit New York, New Jersey, and all along the East Coast, Casa Couture and Cuoio Shoes on Newbury Street in Boston joined forces on November 15th to help with Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
Fashionistas with heart from the Boston area, including Casa Couture fans and Mrs. Massachusetts, joined our founder, Claudia Espinola, for a fun night of shopping and fundraising.
15% of all Casa Couture sales went to support the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund, The United Way of Long Island, and The American Red Cross.
On September 19th, we were a part of the Fashion Forward Conference, bringing over 300 influential bloggers, media and brand executives together in NYC for a day filled with fashion shows, style tips and informative panels hosted by industry experts. We got to meet some really fabulous ladies as well as enjoy an informative keynote from Jill Herzig, Editor in Chief of Redbook, about how to use social media to engage your audience.
In addition to being a featured event sponsor, Casa Couture also provided the shoes that strutted the runway that day, like the ones featured in the photograph on Icon Susan Lucci’s daughter, Liza Huber; she wore Casa Couture’s Antoinettes.
We were also thrilled to meet Ingrid from Ingrid & Isabel Maternity who provided the wardrobe and gave us some great advice. We look forward to staying in touch and perhaps collaborating at some point in the future.
All in an all, it was a memorable event that we were honored to be a part of. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year!
Trunk Show at French Sole in New York City: September 15, 2012
On Saturday, September 15th we were thrilled to personally introduce our debut collection to our New York City fans by hosting a fabulous trunk show at French Sole Comfort on the Upper East Side. Over 100 guests joined us throughout the day to mingle, snatch up a pair of Casa Couture’s shoes at the one-day price, and special order their own unique style and color combinations. One of the lucky sales reps even walked away with a free iPod Nano.
We’d like to thank French Sole Comfort again for hosting us at this event. They said it was one of the most successful shows they’ve ever had and the customer feedback was phenomenal. In fact, one of our customers was wearing her pair of Antoinette’s to interview the First Lady at the White House later that week!
Stay tuned for details on our upcoming trunk shows in a city near you!
Fashion Night Out at Cuoio on Newbury Street: September 6, 2012
Casa Couture was asked to be a part of Boston’s Fashion Night Out and display our debut Fall line. In celebration of the local fashion industry, Casa Couture joined forces with one of our exclusive retailers, Cuoio, located on Newbury Street – Boston’s equivalent of Madison Avenue. Local celebrity stylists and fashionistas joined us for a one-night-only 10% discount and the exclusive ability to pre-order our Spring collection. Amid the evening of cocktails, light bites and all things fashion, the customer response to the Fall collection was fantastic!
Casa Couture Launch Party and Fundraiser: May 15, 2012
On May 15th, Casa Couture officially debuted its Signature Collection at Salon Mario Russo, located in the beautiful Boston Seaport District. Over 90 guests attended this memorable event, including Mrs. Massachusetts herself, to indulge in a night of pampering and to get a sneak peek of the Signature Shoe Collection.
The event not only celebrated Casa Couture’s launch, but also celebrated moms, hosting over 50 fashionable women in honor of Mother’s day. Hundreds of dollars were also raised via a silent auction and raffle, benefitting local non-profit, Room to Grow, which helps impoverished women care for their children as they go through the first few critical years of their lives.
Simply put, this night was a perfect balance of pampering, style and a celebration of women helping women. As our company grows, we’re committed to our mission of social entrepreneurship that positively impacts our community.
